The book, coaching, workshops, donations, and how we handle the practical parts.

Serving.LOVE is a program of Educational Support Foundation, a non-profit organization. Payments for coaching and donations are made to Educational Support Foundation.

Serving.LOVE Finding JOY is sold and fulfilled by Books.by, an independent print-on-demand platform. Orders, shipping, damaged or defective copies, and returns are handled under Books.by’s terms and their print guarantee — not by us. If something goes wrong with an order, contact Books.by first; if you get stuck, email us and we will help you chase it.

Group sessions on Zoom are free to attend. Donations are welcome and entirely optional; you will never be asked twice.

Please protect each other. What people share in a group session stays in that session. Do not record, screenshot, or repeat what you hear. We may remove anyone from a session who is disruptive, abusive, or who breaks that confidence.

Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled if something comes up; we will give as much notice as we can.

What it is. One hour, one-on-one with Hank Tate, by Zoom or phone, focused on encouragement, perspective, and practical help learning to love the people in your life.

What it is not. Coaching is not therapy, not counseling, and not medical or mental-health treatment. Hank is not a licensed counselor, therapist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor, and nothing said in a session is a substitute for professional care. Nothing in a session creates a clinical, legal, or fiduciary relationship. If what you are carrying needs professional help, Hank will say so and help you find it.

Fees. $100 per one-hour session, or four sessions for $350. Payment is due at the time of booking.

Rescheduling. You may reschedule or cancel at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Just email or text.

Late cancellations and no-shows. Cancellations inside 24 hours, and missed sessions, count as used. Life happens — if something genuinely unavoidable came up, tell us and we will almost always work with you.

Four-session packages. Sessions are for one person, non-transferable, and should be used within six months of purchase.

Refunds. If a session has not happened yet, you can have your money back — just ask. Unused sessions in a package are refundable at the $100 single-session rate for sessions already taken. Completed sessions are not refundable.

Nobody is turned away over money. If cost is the only thing standing between you and this, say so.

Speaking engagements, Discovering Joy workshops, and Pennies for Praise sessions are arranged individually. Dates, fees or honoraria, travel, and cancellation terms are agreed in writing before the event and those terms govern that engagement.

Donations support Serving.LOVE and are made to Educational Support Foundation. Donations are non-refundable unless made in error — contact us promptly and we will fix it.

Coaching fees are not donations and are not tax-deductible, because you receive a service in exchange. Any receipt for a tax-deductible gift will come from Educational Support Foundation separately. 

Nothing on this website is an emergency service. We do not monitor messages around the clock, and we cannot respond to emergencies.

By subscribing you agree to receive the Love Challenge email. By checking the SMS consent box or texting us first, you agree to receive texts. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of purchasing anything.

The text, images, worksheets, logos, and the Serving.LOVE and Discovering Joy names are owned by us. You are welcome to share links, quote us with attribution, and use the Love Challenges personally and with the people you lead.

Please do not reproduce or sell our material commercially, republish substantial portions, or present our workshops as your own program without written permission. If you want to use something in your ministry or organization, just ask — the answer is usually yes. Especially the Discovering JOY workshops. We want to train and equip many leaders to use the program to bless and safe lives!

Give us accurate information, use the site lawfully, treat other participants with respect, and understand that what you do with the encouragement you receive is your own decision.

We offer this work in good faith, but we cannot promise particular outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the site, a session, or a workshop is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We link to other websites and services we think are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. 

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
